Genesis 7:22 Everything

He did everything God asked him to do

Observation
The task Noah was given was huge, it included lots of detail and lots of persecution. The specifications of the ark were enough to overwhelm to most detailed of us. Add to the equation the violence that surrounded Noah (7:11), then the gathering of every animal pair, and finally enough food to feed both his family and the animals (for an indefinite number of days mind you) and you get an equation that even the best of us couldn't manage.
Yet Noah knew that extreme steps of faith takes following the tiniest of instructions from God and in turn God allowed the time for Noah to complete all the tasks assigned.

Application
God has asked me to make big faith jumps in the past. In fact I've had to take one just recently. In those requests, there is a knowing that I need to stick extremely close to God; that I need to quiet myself to hear His every word, so that I don't misstep. It is very easy to rationalize not doing all of what God has asked. However, doing most of what God wants you to is still disobedience, because you didn't do all that God has asked. I stick close when the situation calls for extreme faith. Yet, since faith is a daily walk, I have to ask myself if I am obeying all that God calls me to do everyday, even when the situation doesn't call for extreme faith. The answer is a sad "No". Yet I know He will complete the good work He has begun. So each day I lay myself down at His feet and say "here I am Lord, please continue :)".

Prayer
Here I am Lord, please continue the good work that You have begun in me.
