Thursday
S - Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication and thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
O -
  1. What does the word supplication mean?  (Look the word up in a dictionary or in the back or your bible and write the definition here).

  1. How do you feel when you are thanking God or others?
  1. If you were to praise God all the time how would you feel?

A-
Make a list of the things that make you anxious.  Tear each one apart in little strips of paper.  Find or make a small or can.  Decorate the box or can and write God is in control on one side and God is working all for good on the other.
P -
Tell God each of the things that make you anxious, then put the piece of paper in the box. As you do thank God for being in control and for being good.

Friday

  1. Do you think this was the peace of God?
  1. How can peace guard your heart?
  2. How can peace guard your mind?

Continue to bring anything you are anxious about to God in prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving.  Then put them in the box or can you made.

P - Thank God for His peace and ask that He continue to guard your heart and mind with His peace.
