O Lord, You're Beautiful

The song below is the cry of my heart.  I have never lead worship with this song, but I have worshiped with it so, so, so, many times.  In fact, if you have seen me in my car with my hands raised in praise or just singing my heart out, it has probably been to this song.

There is a part where Melissa How sings "I want to take Your word and shine it all around, but first help me just to live it Lord, and when I'm  doing well help me to never seek the crown for my reward is bringing glory to You."  When I sing those words I can't help but cry.  How I wish I could shine His word everywhere, but most of all, I wish I could just walk it out every day.

I long for the day when everything I do will be about giving Him glory.  Where selfish ambition and foolish pride will no longer be able to even entice me and I walk forevermore in the light of His countenance. I praise Him for being mindful enough of me to answer my hearts cry and train me in His ways.
